Dr. Barnes is a chiropractor with a private practice in Louisville, KY. She received her doctorate degree (DC) in chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic - West in 1992 and an advanced degree in clinical chiropractic pediatrics (DICCP) in 1996. She has worked in a variety of settings from a full-time position at the Kentuckiana Children's Center for children with special needs to a multi-disciplinary practice to solo private practice. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including functional kinesiology, low level laser, myofascial release and craniosacral therapy. She has been the anatomy and physiology instructor at Advanced Massage Therapeutics School since 1999 and also teaches nationally and internationally on a variety of pediatric topics. She has been a Certified KinesioTaping Instructor (CKTI) since 2004 and has taught the KinesioTaping method all over the US as well as England, France, Israel and New Zealand. She is an avid cyclist and photographer and is passionate about her volunteer work for children with cancer
