Pam Chua Samaniego received her Physical Therapy degree from Cebu Doctors’ University, Philippines in 1997 .She has many years of experience in a variety of settings including, acute care, outpatient, LTAC, home health, and skilled nursing facilities. She is currently employed by Encompass Home Health as Orthopedic Program Manager for West Texas and New Mexico Division. Pam has been introduced to Kinesio Taping while working in an Outpatient clinic in 2003.She has used it on a wide variety of patients for pain relief, edema control, post op joint replacement and muscle imbalance issue just to name a few. She had good results while using it as an adjunct to her PT treatment. Her patients often refer the tape as “magic tape”. She became a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner in 2004 and an Instructor in 2005. She also is a member of American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association and Kinesio Taping Association.
