Dr. Takakura has earned a BS in natural sciences from Bastyr University in 2000; ND from Bastyr University in 2002; MSAOM from Bastyr University in 2003; DC from National University of Health Science in 2005. He practiced in Bellevue, Washington between 2003 and 2004. In 2004, he moved to Lombard, Illinois to attend the Chiropractic program at National University of Health Science while he maintained a private practice at The Brannick Clinic of Natural Medicine at Riverside, Illinois. In 2005, he moved to Colorado and practiced at Fountain Creek Wellness Center in Manitou Springs, Colorado until 2006. He is currently a Core faculty member of the physical medicine department at Bastyr University, clinical supervision at Myofascial Analysis; Naturopathic Manipulation 1; Hydrotherapy/Physiotherapy lab; CranioSacral Therapy; and Clinical rotations. Dr. Takakura has a special interest in physical medicine and pain management.
