Born and raised in Southern Ontario, Jennifer attended Brock University from 1999-2001, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduation, she then crossed the border and attended New York Chiropractic College. She was the class Salutatorian, a member of the Phi Chi Omega honors society for excellence in academic standings, and the recipient of the Clinical Award of Excellence. Jennifer is also a graduate of Hamilton's McMaster University Medical Acupuncture course, and has been invited in the new year to become an assistant professor for this course. She is a Certified Kinesio® Taping Instructor, and certified in all levels of Active Release Techniques (ART®), and Activator Protocols.
She also teaches postgraduate courses in Functional Integrated Therapy™ along side world-renown sports chiropractor Dr. Mark Scappaticci, CKTI. Dr. Illes integrates a unique blend of contemporary techniques such as electro-acupuncture, soft tissue manipulation, joint manipulation and mobilization techniques.
