The Kinesio Taping® Association now provides full color workbooks at all approved KTA seminars.

The 6 Workbooks were introduced into our curriculum in 2006, so they are not so new, but they are certainly worth talking about! So many people have asked about them, we decided we should have a picture and description to show you what all the excitement is about. All approved Kinesio Taping® Seminars now require that our Certified Kinesio Taping Instructors use these books during KT1 & KT2 instruction so that each attendee a) receives consistency in training, b) doesn't suffer eye-strain trying to read grainy black and white handouts and c) has access to this powerful library in their own practice. The workbooks cover the essentials and give a step-by-step approach to the Kinesio Taping® Method. With strong and vibrantly colored illustrated examples of the muscles and joints to be taped and color photographs of each step of the Kinesio Taping® Method, the Workbooks provide the practitioner with a detailed look at how and where to apply the Kinesio Tex® Tape.

Workbook 1: Upper Extremity

Muscle screening tests for the upper body including the Linder Test, Cervical Spine Extension Test, Bulge in an Artery, and Wright Test. Taping applications for the upper back, cervical region, head region and superior limb girdle are included.

Workbook 2: Lower Extremity

This workbook includes muscle screening tests for the lower body including Linder Test, Abdominal Pressure Test, Patrick Fabre Test, and SLR Test. Taping applications for the Thoracolumbar region, abdominal region, pelvic region, and inferior limb girdle are included.

Workbook 3: Muscles in the Superficial Layer

This workbook will provide information explaining the Kinesio Taping® Method by dissecting the application process muscle by muscle and is segmented by body motion or part.

Workbook 4: Muscles in the Middle and Deep Layer

This workbook guides the attendee through the necessary application protocols for the muscles located just under the muscles in the superficial layer and muscles located near the bones. These applications are not part of Workbook 1, 2, & 3.

Workbook 5: Correctional Technique & Clinical Applications

Included in this workbook are 12 applications utilizing the correctional taping methods and 14 applications related to specific clinical conditions. These applications are not included in any of the previous workbooks.

Workbook 6: Clinical Applications

This particular workbook will guide the attendee through the necessary application protocols for clinical applications. There are 18 applications related to specific clinical conditions and 15 selective applications related to clinical conditions. These applications are advanced tapings not included in any of the previous workbooks.
