Kinesio’s Guatemalan director, Gustavo Lopez, visited Project Goal to give support to the injured players from the U20 (under age 20) division. He arrived at 9:30 and was with the players until 11:30.
Kinesio Taping consists on placing the tape in a pattern that imitates the properties of the skin, used for muscular, joints and neurological injuries and for reducing inflammations.

One of the players who benefited was Kendel Herrarte, who said: “During the games, I suffer from many cramps, and I hope this will help me. I have understood that on Sunday I have to remove it.” The player was calm and confident in the results of the product.
"It is a pleasure for us to serve and help the national team," said Gustavo Lopez.
After the presentation, some of the players went to their rooms to rest, while the others went to the living room to see the replay of the game against the United States team, a 2-1 upset victory for Guatemala.
Project GOAL (Greater Opportunity for Athletes to Learn) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the development of disadvantaged youth through educational and soccer related programs. With the win against the US, the “Chapines” have clinched a World Cup berth in the U20 division.
