Michela took her graduate at the Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, Varese, in 2007 with the discussion of the thesis: "treatment with Kinesio® Taping on the shoulder injuries in water polo players: pilot study." She received her Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at the Curtin University of Perth, Australia, in 2008. Michela presently is a private practitioner in an orthopedic clinic. Since 2006 she has worked as physiotherapist in Varese water polo team, where different olimpionics players have played, and in Legnano softball team, the European Champion for clubs in 2008. She is a Kinesio® Taping co-instructor in Italy.
